The Domes are made using strong PVC poles and waterproof, fire retardant tent plastic, built by Shelter systems in California. They have the stringent NFPA 701 – 1999 certificate) that can withstand winds up to Gale force 7. Their unique design and lightweight yet strong geodesic construction means that they are very versatile. They are easy to transport and erect, and do not require structural engineering.
